This statement describes how Servie AS collects and processes data that you give us or that we collect via the company’s website.

The company is responsible for your personal data. All inquiries to the company must be made using the contact information listed under § 7.

Use of data processors

Wera is responsible for the data, and it shall not be used for purposes other than fulfilling our contract. In cases where we make use of external data processors, responsibility for the data will be safeguarded through the data processor’s own certification.

One such example of data processing is Google Analytics by Google Inc., established in the USA. Appropriate safeguards for transferring information to the USA are ensured through the data processor’s certification under the EU–US privacy framework.

Your rights

Access

You have the right at any time to ask us what information we have registered about you, the purpose of the registration, which categories of personal data, any recipients of the information, as well as information about the data’s origin.

You have the right to receive a copy of the personal details we have stored about you. If you would like a copy of your personal data, please send a written request along with identification showing that you are the relevant individual (copy of passport/driver’s license, etc.).

Right to rectification

You have the right to correct errors in the personal data we have registered about you. If you become aware of errors in the information we have recorded about you, please send us a written request with the corrected information.

Right to erasure

You have the right to have some or all of your personal data deleted by us, for example if you withdraw your consent to our records. To the extent that processing your information is necessary—for example, to comply with our statutory obligations—we are not obliged to delete the personal data.

Right to restriction of processing for storage only
In some cases, you also have the right to have your personal data restricted to storage only, for example if you believe that the information we have about you is incorrect.

Right to data portability

You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and the right to transfer this information when we collect your personal information in connection with:

  • your consenting to subscribe to the newsletter
  • your consenting to register for activities and meetings

You have the right at any time to object to our processing of your personal data that we collect to improve the website’s usability.

You have the right at any time to object to our processing of your personal data that we handle in connection with direct marketing. If you do not accept this processing, we no longer have the right to handle your personal information unless we can demonstrate legitimate grounds to continue.

Right to withdraw consent

You have the right at any time to withdraw your consent for us to use your IP address to determine your geographic location, your consent to subscribe to our newsletter, or your registration for our meetings and activities. You have the right to submit a complaint to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet), Postboks 8177 Dep., 0152 Oslo, regarding our processing of your personal data.

Deletion of personal data

If you do not use our website for a period of one year, we will automatically delete your personal data that we are not legally required to store for a longer period. Unless we are entitled to continue processing, we will delete your personal data if you withdraw your consent for us to store the information we have collected in connection with marketing by email, SMS, and post to you.

We will delete your personal data if you withdraw your consent for us to store the information we have collected in connection with your subscription to our newsletter. You may subscribe or unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time. Upon unsubscribing, the data we have collected about you will automatically be deleted.

Security

We have implemented necessary technical and organizational security measures to prevent personal data from being accidentally or unlawfully destroyed, lost, altered, or degraded, as well as from becoming known to third parties or misused.

Only employees who have a direct need for this information in their work have access to your personal data.
